For right now the only AMD chip I recommend over Intel is the X2 3600 (Brisbane) due to its high overclockability and low price. When July 22 comes...the Q6600 will be one of the best CPU deals in a very long time.

Q6600 is stated to be released at around $270 which is insane for a dual core clocked at 2.4ghz I think.

and we dont even kno how good these new amd chips are gonna be they allready lied about there new line of graphicks cards which in there benchmarcks destroyed the 8800 series but after release had trouble against the gts and got destroyed by the gtx so who knows how good these amd chips will be
