okie...i recently sold my computer(eBay: INTEL P4 3.2 HT BOSE SOUND G5 MICE 19 INCH WIDESCREEN (item 160119700241 end time May-31-07 13:44:38 PDT)) to custome build a kick azz gaming comp...after reading some of the post, there was one that caught my eye...a person said that the q6600 will drop to 258 in july...i was stun...i dont know what to do... should i wait to get that or just get the amd athlon 64 fx 62?...which one is better for gaming? :freak:

Q6600 >>>>> FX62

Q6600 would completely destroy FX62 in every benchmark

Even the E6600 is much better in every thing.

now by core 2 duo, july 22nd buy a q6600, 6 months time buy amd Am2+ k10 processors

my admin at school was sayin amd FX's kik the c2d and Q arses. then i argued with him he wouldnt listen. then next i printed out 7 pages a benchmarking graphs and conclusions from peopels reviews. he finally admitted he was wrong.

lol i guess he was an AMD junkie? but the mid-higher end core 2 duo pwn without an issue, plus they overclock better

right now and especially july go intel, if its this fall AMD. the K-10s are the next step.
