Hello, I was wondering. If i build a computer with Mobo being A8N-Sli premium, I can't get a X1900 XTX Video card on it right? Has to be a sli video card?

Oh and another thing, Anyone knows how long it would take for the 7900 GTX From eVGA to come out after march 9?

Does not have to be SLI and yes that card will work, No idea when the 7900 GTX will be out for sure.

I am waiting for the 7900 GTX to come out, and I will probably get two of them. So I would Dual 7900 GTX on this system. But I also want to see which is faster between the 7900 GTX and the X1900XTX ATI.

So I ask again now that I gave you my whole set up, If for any reason the X1900XTX is still faster than the 7900 GTX, Can I USE a X1900XTX on this system? Or will I have to change some parts?

None of the links work, looks like you copy and pasted the htmls from a previous post and copied them here.

I would go with a X1900XT cause it's most likely going to be more powerful then the 7900GTX since the 7900 only has 24 pipelines then the 32 pipes that the 7900GTX was speculating.

Did you already buy the SLI motherboard like I did? Even still I'm going with a X1900XT.

X1900XT will cost 500 bucks versus 600 bucks when the 7900GTX comes out. Don't even think about the X1900XTX because there pretty much identical and it costs 60-100 dollars and a simple overclock will easily bring it up to XTX speeds no problem.

**** you can buy a DFI crossfire (ATI's form of SLI) mobo with the money you save from the 7900GTXs when getting X1900XTs.

If you do go Crossfire make sure you get one (1) Crossfire X1900 as your master card which is the same speeds as a X1900XT.

Don't get a fatility X-Fi go with the Xtreme Music version which is around 100 bucks and has the same features except without the front box, and if it's very important get the platinum version for ~180 dollars which also has the front box.

Oh and don't get an FX-60, get a 4800+ instead, which is 400 bucks cheaper and is only .2GHz slower. Remember the CPU isn't very important in computer gaming, and the performance would be small.

Well sorry about the links, I already bought the stuff above except the processor and the video cards. Will the X1900XT-XTX work with that Motherboard and stuff I got? Also, can you dual ATI cards? or you can only use two if Nvidia?
