Hi,
I just bought a Fortron 400 watt power supply (ax-400 pn) to replace my old psu that died, and realized that there is no 3-pin power fan connection for the motherboard. (an asus socket 939 athlon64 system) I was just wondering if this is a problem...(my old one had a connection for it).
My understanding is that this connector is purely for automatic fan adjustment for noise control, and I guess this power supply doesn't have that feature. I just wanted to post this before I turned it on! If somebody could confirm that it's all safe that would be sweet. If not that would be good to know too.
Rock on!
