no power

Hi guys just installed final pieces to my comp and turned it on and nothing
no fans spin nothins . how can i tell if i recieved a dead motherbaord?

alright lol i know its obvious, but its the first thing thats come to mind... is the power cord plugged in? and is the turn on button connected to the mobo or w.e

If you are not getting anypower (led's on the mobo, fan's) make sure the ATX connector and the Power Switch connectors are hooked up properly (double check the manual) Check the Power switch on the back of the PSU. to check the case power switch find the two pins on the motherboard for the power switch and short them togeather for a second. If everything is hooked up properly then the PSU is probably bad not the motherboard. This is a good posability if you are trying to use the PSU that came with your case, because they are pure junk.
