You should go with a nVidia for BF2. Also it might increase the preformance as you have got a nVidia chipset.

And can I be Rudolf Hoess? O.o

My friend has a ATi x800 256mb card and he can run BF2 on high settings at 1024x768 with 4x AA and still get 60+ FPS.

He has a AMD Athlon 3500+ with 2GB DDR333 RAM.

If you can get the money to splurge on a x1900xt, then do it, i highly recommend.

Also stop posting 3 or 4 times in a row, there's a edit button incase you didnt know.

He runs BF2 like that on that!!!!! holy crap i gotta get me one of those!

Ive got a 64 3700+ San Diego and 1Gb of ram. i was thinking HIS X800GTO IceQ II Turbo (overclocked)

i don't know where you got that figure from. that is around the price of the 7900gtx and the x1900xtx can be had for about the same. 7900gt goes for around $500-$600 if you look around.
