ok im goin back on what i said, dont think i can wait and cant see myself suffering long term from this decision. Think ive mostly nailed down the system which keeps well within my budget (ridiculously so....)

Buying in NZ

CPU - Intel Core i5 3570K - $307
Mainboard - Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 - $188
Ram - Gskill Rip Jaws 1600 4x4GB - $113
GPU - Sapphire 7970 3GB OC - $594
HDD - Seagate Baracuda 64MB 1TB - $89
Cooling - Corsair Hydro H100 - $199
Retain PSU and case from current build. Have decided to hold onto full tower.

Total - $1490NZ ($1250US)

Undecided about SSD still......

If you are still shipping from the US, you can get a 4GB 680 which is better for relatively the same price or cheaper.

Also, that rig needs an SSD more than it needs an H100. Seriously.

Are you shipping from the US? Or looking at NZ sites? Haven't really clarified that.

Anyways, if you're shipping from the US you can get this card. It may not be cheaper, but either on par or slightly more expensive but still better.

Zotac and Palit are taking over market share so that means they aren't the ****ty brand they used to be. Kind of like ASRock moving on from Asus after being bought by Pegatron who was discarded by Asus.
