Well, it all depends. If this is for a gaming rig, I would definitely upgrade the video card to the 8800GT (512 MB). Other than that, your system is pretty solid. I'm not sure why so many people are rushing into the quad-core trend so fast. You can find a Core 2 Duo for cheaper and it will run better for your applications than your quad-core. Gaming is sometimes even hindered by such things as quad-core cpu's and SLI because not every game/application supports it. If you want good frame rates and fast processing, go with a 3.0 GHz or higher Core 2 Duo.
 
One should only reccomend a power supply of equal or less price than the one the OP wants to purchase. And for 45 Bucks the one he chose is pretty much top.
 
if this is gaming rig i still say stick with the q6600 unless you plan on upgrading in the next 12 months...
the 8600gt is pretty weak for gaming i agree
get at least a 3870
