Default nex intel price drop

Planning to build a conroe system in next month or so. Tried to find info online, but no luck. Does anyone know if intel has plans to drop prices any in the coming 30-45 days? I know quad-core is around the corner, but probably not close enough. Just curious...

Also, looking for a mobo recommendation. Between these 2 right now... and

I'm not planning to overclockl, maybe a tiny boost if anything - I need something very stable. The intel has onboard video, which might be good for a backup if my card goes dead but not a draw at all. Are there any drawbacks to onboard video if it's not used?

along these lines - no overclocking, no RAID, 2 or 3 sata drives and 2 opticals, has anyone found a good, stable core 2 duo board for < $100?

Thanks in advance

i think the DS3 is the best budget board there is but thats just my opinion.

and i dont think there will be any price cuts on the core 2s for the holiday

i think your only hope is for a retailer to have a sale or somewthing
