i am thinking of getting a pc for gaming is this good for 700 nothing pro but just good to play like splinter cell 2
Specs
- Compaq presario 8000 black
- 3.2 HT Ghz processor w/ heatsink/fan
- Dvd + cd burner
- Dvd player
- Ati 9600 256mb video card.
- 120gb harddrive ( will be formated and new reinstall of windows, with all the updates etc)
- 1gb of dual channel ram
- Sound Blaster Audigy 2
- Windows Xp pro

Hmmm... This would be decent for games that came out a few years ago, when the ATI 9xxx series was king, but won't really hold up with new games. I'm sorry, but i don't know how old Spinter Cell 2 is.
Is the CPU a celeron or P4?

Either way, you could probably build one for a little over $700 that will be loads better than this one.

The system VYbuni will kill that Compaq one. But, i think it would play it on med settings - charlie
