First of all, this is my computer
AMD 64X2 Dual 5200 M2
Gamer Xblade box
Thermaltake 550W 120MMfan W/2XPCI-E (6pins) 4XSATA 1X4PIN
Asus Gforce 7900GT 256MO DDR3 256 BIT video card
160 gig western digital 8M cache 7200rpm SATA2 hard drive
2go Ram Corsair 2x1 gig dual channel
Integrated sound card
ASUS M2M-E- AM2 NF570 ULTRA 3PCI/PCI-E X16 motherboard
Windows XP
Now this is my problem, I just upgraded to a 24" screen from a 19". When playing World of Warcraft, I was able to run on max settings and get 40-50 FPS all the time. But now with my new screen, i get peaks of 27 FPS on lowest settings. Sometimes it goes down to 10 FPS when a lot of stuff is going on the screen, and I even saw 1 FPS at one point.
Now I'm thinking that evidently my graphics card isnt powerful enough to run WoW correctly on a 24" monitor. I want to go back to 50 FPS on max graphics settings. Wich card should I upgrade to? I saw a good deal on a geforce 9800GT. Is it enough?
Thanks for all the help.
