Default New System

Recently had my friend approach me offering to sell me his system as it's unused.

It's a dell xps 720.

Q6660 intel 775 CPU @ 2.66ghz. quad core.

4gb of 800mhz DDR2 Ram 2 x 2gb.

Nvidia 8800gtx 768mb.

2x500GB HDD's Sata

1000W Dell PSU.

Wondered whether it's worth buying and if it'd be good for modern day gaming at the mo.

Also comes with windows vista 64 bit Licensed.

Would this be worth it for only 200?

If the board ever failed id need a new psu/case/board obviously, But I think this sounds like a bargain?? Definetly an upgrade from my dual core 2gb of ram?

I'd then have two systems, one for folding, one for gaming?

The only thing about this that makes me suspicious is it's "unused" status, I don't know anyone who would receive a new computer and then just leave it sitting. It's a good deal for 200 but make sure you check it out thoroughly first.

It's my friend IRL, He's a bit of an idiot really and wastes his money, just because he has lots of it. He got this, used it for about 7 months for gaming, then got a new one from cyberpower with a q5550 and 2 x gtx 295's bit of a waste but yeah, Think it'll be worth it then?

+ I will be checking it over thoroughly before i part with my Cash
