Default New Rig.. thoughts

hey guys, alright so i have scrapped my entire build and went from scatch, so here it is:

Cpu :Intel E6400 2.13ghz
Mobo : ASUS S775 P5N32-E-SLI Plus
Ram : GX22GB6400DC Geil PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 2.0GB, 5-5-5-15
Gpu : XFX GeForce 8800GTS XXX 320M, T80G-GHD9, 580Mhz@1.8Ghz
Hdd : SATA Seagate Barracuda 160GB
Case : Gigabyte Aluminum 3D Aurura ATX
Psu : 500 watt ATX power supply Tagan EASYCON

so thats it, any thoughts will be muchly appreciated.

Looks like a good build for the most part, except I really don't like that mobo >.<

No actually it's not bad just go with a DS3 or a P5B-E motherboard instead. The E6400 is a great CPU so good choice there, Geil Makes good RAM so if you found some at a good price go for it. I am partial to G.Skill though and I highly recommend any G.Skill ram first.

That case is expensive if I remember but a good case none the less. The video card also an excellent choice.

Last the PSU-500w's perfect choice for an 8800GTS.

However if you can give me a budget and what you need I'll do my best to cut cost.

basically its 2000 australian or 1600 US, yeah i like that case and video card, but i cant seem to find a site in australia that sells g.skill

That's ok Like I said Geil also makes excellent ram, G.Skill is just personal favorite is all. Either brands will work.

From what I see though your build from what you gave me seems good.

thats good, well just waiting on money now, should be ordered in the next few weeks, might change that board first

Yes go with a DS3 or P5B-E, just overall better boards that will overclock when you want.
