Default New Rig Parts

I'm going to start buying parts on a new rig.

MB: I want x38 chipset Suggestions Brand Model

Not going to OC

CPU: Will be a Quad Core might go 2.4 and go 3.2+ later when price drops

Ram: I'd like DDR3 but, want for now to use DDR2 til DDR3 drops in price.
What brand should buy?

Soundcard: Want one that has expansion box for 5.25 front bay. Best drivers for Vista 64

Video Card: 8800 GTX
How are the Vista 64 Drivers for it
Will this Card block a PCI slot I will need 2 open slots

The rest doesn't matter

just get a gigabye ds3l or an abit p35 board. they are cheap and effective. just get a q6600 for a cpu. crucial ballistix ram. why 8800gtx... thats sort of silly, just get a gts/gt and the gtx has a 2 slot cooler, gts and gt have single slot cooling.
