I am looking to spend around 600$ on a new processor (core 2), but my motherboard doesn't support them... This means that I need a new mobo and while I'm at it I might as well upgrade to better memory.
Here are my ideas, but am always looking for better prices and quality.
CPU:
ClubIT Product - Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz 4MB L2 LGA 775 Processor Retail BX80557E6750 SLA9V
200$
Mobo:
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
145$
Memory:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
130$
With Shipping that should come to around 550 I'm assuming. Please post what you think!
