Default new Processor

Hello,
I was wondering when upgrading to a Dual core Amd on Socket 939 what would the best type be. Should I go for the Denmark or the Toledo? It is for gaming, mutiltasking basic apps, and video encoding.
Thanks
Cikrum

y don't u get an opteron trotter............. if u wanna ditch a lot of money... the best 939 cpu are the fx-6x's series.... but real pricey... and released really badly on AMD's part.... i mean just b4 transitioning to AM2 this comes out...

I second that....get an opteron 165 or 170....both are amazing dual core processors and overclock extremely well....I have the 165.

Opteron and Athlon 64 x2? exacally same performance so if your comparing, just get the same ghz AMD proccesors and get the Intel equivalent. Of course its only for the Athlon 64 x2 with 2mb cache. Its just that opterons are sever proccesors so the data has to be 100% accurate. Overclocking gets rid of that feature but we're gaming and such so it doesn't matter.
