Default new pc for friend

Well, he's not a gamer. Which is tough because that's like the only machine I know how to build for him hehe.

his words for what he wants in his pc "music burning, dvd burning/playing, virus protection just tons of memory so it is not slow" haha, I was like....ok what's your limit? he said his limit is around 1000.00

he says he would like a new lcd monitor too.

need help with a build for a guy who basically is not a gamer but is more media oriented...I figured intel core 2 duo....etc

thanks!

for what hes doing it will do very well and saves him some money, he could spend on maybe a good computer chair or desk lol
