I'm returning back to computers after wasting a ton of money on a comp i built myself that never worked, and I don't really know whats what anymore. last me for playing newer games on high/max settings with smooth FPS? I'm trying to save money, so if any upgrades could be reccomended that aren't too expensive that would be great.

it would probably last you a couple years. 8GB RAM is a waste, though. You'd probably be better off building your own.

That should last you 2-3 years without needing to upgrade.

^^ It should last a couple of years without upgrade but like Yamikotai said, you'll be better off if you build it on your own. For instance I would buy the AMD 955 and overclock it to 3.4GHz.

i don't really trust myself enough to build a computer by myself... i'm only 15 and can't get a job anywhere so i'm just saving a ton of allowance... but thanks, 2-3 years sounds good to me

Building a computer is easy, trust us; I was 15 when I built my first rig (17 now) and had no problems
