OP might want to look at Intel NUC's. They're cheap and small

Gigabyte Brix I'd say is better but probably more expensive.

Yup.... The Brix is a nice looking box but it is in the $500. range

I could have swore I saw an i5 one for like 350 at Microcenter.

Looks like you can order online, but will only ship-to-store. Dallas/Houston are the 2 options for TX.
