Hey everyone, just thought I'd join a forum, not sure if this is the best pc forum to join but its a start.

I'm Travis H.

Puter:

CPU: Athon XP 3200+
Mobo: Abit NF7s 2.0
OS: Windows XP Pro
Ram: 1024 RAM
Cooling: Extreme Volcano 12 Cooler
VGA: Raedon 9800 Pro (128)


I know that Artic Silver 5 is the way to go, but i was getting rapid increasing cpu temp, so I went to Circuit City today and got some Antec Formula5 compound, and it lowered my cpu from 43 to 35/36 at idle steadily. Of course the old stuff was oem goop that came with the volcano cooler, and I applied too much of it, but still, 35 is quite respectable.

Yea there are some who aren't as helpfull as some... some are nice like trotter and gaara and some are jack...
