Hello all, I'm looking into buying a new 19' LCD monitor. I recently had a 19' Samsung CRT that broke down on me, so I'm off to a new LCD.

I saw a 19' inch LCD that looked pretty impressive that sells for $269. Here's the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...t&productCategoryId=cat01011&id=1149205183814

It's called a 931BF which I have never heard of on other sites except Best Buy. I'm wondering if that would be a good monitor to purchase or are there any other better alternatives for me? By the way, I usually use my computer for gaming, word documents, web surfing, etc.

That is an excellent monitor for the price. Response time is exceptional for gaming and DVD's. And the contrast ratio is the highest i've seen.

Defenitely worth a buy, the only drawback is no speakers built-in (Well, who needs them?)

honestly, i can't say much about that monitor, because i've never heard of it or seen it, but...when it comes to shopping for a monitor (or speakers) the best thing you can do is go to the store and see what YOU think. if they have them hooked up that is.

That is a fantastic response time.

Also, I have never had trouble with any Samsung monitors I have had. I'd definitely go for it if I were you.
