Default New HDD...

I need suggestions for a decent hdd. I saw a Western Digital 250gig 10,000rpm hdd at newegg that looked pretty sweet. What do you guys think?

You don't need a 10k rpm hard drive. They're pretty pricey, per GB.

I would suggest the Seagate 7200.11 series.

Would the 10k rpm drive help with apps like Photoshop? If it makes no real difference, I'll go with a cheaper drive then.

Photoshop is probably going to use RAM moreso than hard drive space.

Maybe I'll throw a couple more sticks of ram in then.

Yeah I have the 7200.11 and I love it. A great processor and good ram will get photoshop up and running quickly.
