Default New graphics card & Processor?

Hiya all,
Im in need of some assistance. I have to upgrade an old computer (well its a Dimention 3000) with a new graphics card (it has a rubbish built in one). Only problem is that it only has PCI (doesnt have PCI-e) slots. Most places are only really advertising newer cards that wont fit on the motherboard.

What is the best graphics card i can get to go in a PCI slot on this computer?

Also it has a Celeron D 2.4ghz proccessor in it. ive found out that it will fit a Intel P4 3.2 GHz 800MHz 478pin 512K L2 Northwood CPU OEM, can the PC actually have this with its current motherboard? If so what diffrences will there be?

Thanks for your help.

Does it have an AGP slot? Will you use it for gaming? What are the specs of the computer? Using a PCI card won't get you far, but you can pick one up at newegg for about 40 bucks
Newegg.com - DIAMOND X1550PRO256PSB Radeon X1550 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Video Card - Retail
This is probably the best out there for PCI, but I really wouldn't get it, I bought my x1900gt for just 10 bucks more

That Dell only has 3 PCI slots. Changing the processor is a iffy thing for Dells. You could plan on saving up and buy another one in the future.
