Default New graphics card - $200 Dollar budget

Hi, i was looking for a graphic card under 200dollars.

What would be my best bet?

6600GT or 6800 vanilla.
Also depends on what you have; being pci-express or agp.

Yeah, that's the deciding factor. If you're looking for a card for the money with light/no overclocking, I would personally say the 6600GT. But the 6800 has some really good possibilities for overclocking, especially the 4 extra pipelines.

yeah i think i will overclock it, or something. thanks. ill go with the 6800 from newegg.
and btw, ifi unlock the extra pipelines and overclock, will it be up to speed with a 6800? ill get a tsunami dream with all those fans inside, so i think i can overclock reasonably high...

if you unlock which card? the 6600 or 6800?
the 6600 has a max of 8 pipelines, but you can unlock the 6800 to have 16 pipes. but it won't quite be up to the speed of a GT or ultra, because it will run at a lower frequency

id get the 6800 vanilla then overlcok, & since that what you want to do, go for it

i really want 6800Ultra but, its too expensive for me right now, should i wait for the price to go lower? or will it be all sold out and gone by then, cause i heard they dont make em anymore
