so i figure its time to upgrade my vga from my 9700pro 128mb, im thinkin either the 512mb x1600 pro or the 256mb 6600, unl;ss therse something else, im planning on ocing. so?

out of those two, the 256 MB 6600 would beat the x1600 PRO conisderably.


I think a 7600 GT would be perfect, it may be a little out of your price range, but with the way techonlogy is moving, it wouldnt be worth it to buy any of those cards right now.

Just a suggestion.

budget is about £100 ($190), nuts, i forgot to say its agp, im not planning on upgrading to pci-e anythime soon, and i cant imagine the prices dropping particurly on any agp cards, so i assumed it wouldnt matter when i bought it. hmm this is a dilema, do i dare, wait and splash out on conroe, hmm, ive got a 2.8p4 oced to 3.4
