Change mobo and get DDR2

Why get SDD? You can get a VelociRaptor it is 1GB/$1 and performs like a SDD

So there would be no noticeable difference between a Q9450 and a Q6600?

And I understand that there won't be much difference between 4GB DDR2 and 4GB DDR3 but in 2 years time, surely its got to be worthwhile having the DDR3?

And what is the difference performance wise between a x38 or a x48.

What's the read/write speeds on a Velociraptor compared to a SSD?

And next week, thats the nvidia 280 or something isn't it.
