My friend's looking to have me build him a sweet rig, with a max of around 2750. He'd like it to be an Intel machine, and basically just have it dominate all other computers. Also, the case must have a window, and he wants to overclock it to the max, so best suggestions of heatsinks, fans, etc. Any ideas?

for a case something like the thermaltake armor or CM stacker
motherboard: MSI 650I
CPU: Intel E6600
RAM: Gskill DDR2 800 2GB
PSU: Corsair 520watt Modular
VGA: eVGA 8800GTX
Cooling: TT Big Typhoon
get a hdd depending on whatsize he wants

lol ok here you go off the top of my head:

Motherboard: asus p5n-e
Cpu: e6600 (quad core if he really wants bragging rights)
Ram: 2x1gb g-skill hz's (black ones)
hdds: 32gb flash drive (if he really wants to brag 0ms seek time compared to 4.8ms for a raptor but costs around $500)
3x320gb seagate barracudas 7200.10 (Raid5)
hsf: thermaltake ultra 120
Psu: 700W OCZ
gfx: 320mb 8800gts if he gets evga he can use the step-up program and within 90days upgrade to a 8900 and pay the difference
Case: antec 900
monitor???: viewsonic VX2245/35

This probably went over lol I am just done doing "my build" if I lived in America my sig build costs £1600ish but the English market is really overpriced $3200 and I could build something really special

i would say q6600 after the price drop if he wants a quad other wise e6600 do fine. also i would suggest the new gskill ddr1066 hk's that came out not long ago. and also as for cooling get a tuniq tower
