new gamer build. please help :)

Hey guys.

I know this has probably been warn down to the bone but I just wanted some help on a new build.

I have been looking through the threads and come to this conclusion. I would give you a budget but i'm an Aussie so I don't think it would help you out too much =P.

Intel i7-920 Core i7 CPU

eVGA Intel X58LE Motherboard LGA1366 (141-BL-E757-TR)

eVGA GF GTX 285 (01G-P3-1281-AR)

Corsair Dominator 6GB Kit

Corsair 850W Power Supply

Western Digital CAVIAR 1tb 7200rpm

not to sure on optical drive. or case.

will be running on a 40" samsung full hd LCD.

any ideas???

Looks like a good start. For a single GTX285, you won't need the 850W, the Corsair 750W will be fine. Make sure the HDD is a Caviar Black not just regular Caviar.

if I was to go with 2 gtx 285's would the 750 be sufficient. or would I be better off with the 850w???

and also would it be worth trying to install snow leopard, or stick with vista/7 64bit???

Better off with 850W and Windows 7. If you hold off one more month the new ATI cards will be out and you can expect some extreme performance and you should also see some large price cuts.

I was thinking of a bluray drive and putting it all into a home theatre style case.

something like,

or

has anyone had any experience with them? airflow, cooling?
