I wonder how this goes against the oh so popular Xigmatek Rifle that we recommend here now...

Newegg.com - OCZ OCZTVEND2 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

that one right?

so its a war between that and this

Newegg.com - XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

1. Never heard of that website in my life

2. .75C is such a small difference it could come down to a poor mount versus a good one.

^^or even the thermal paste was a bit denser on one cpu then the other. So it isn't even worth mentioning a .75c difference.

The website said nothing about the number of mounts done, a single mount is not a reliable source of temps.

They also don't say what the temp was measured with. The only reliable way to measure temps is to embed a thermal probe into the cpu's ihs.
