Default New computer, thoughts?

I just bought a new computer, Dell XPS 600. 3.0Ghz, 2GB Ram, 256MB PCI Express™ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) nVidia GeForce 6800.
Thats the bulk of what I'm getting, any thoughts? The **** thing cost me $2600 (with upgrades such as wirless keyboard, mouse, and speakers, printer/scanner, etc.) I am a gamer, so should my computer be able to hold up with the games that are out now? I'm pretty new to the situation, so any advice would be helpful. thanks.

yeah it should work with all current games. just a warning though, a lot of people here may criticise you for buying a dell.

oh okay, thanks for the heads up. the only reason i'm buying a dell is because i live right across the highway from the HQ, just thought it would be easier if i had any troubles, and i didnt feel like jumping in and getting everything custom seeing that i dont know too much about computers yet.
