excellent build... i don't know if the core 2 extreme is needed though, i say you go e6700 and pick up an 8800gtx instead of gts

I'd say get a e6600 and get a better mobo and ram.

awesome thank you, one more question: I hate a loud computer. I was told that something zalaman or zalman makes the best heat sink because it's quiet and efficient. I'm only putting in 120mm quiet fans in my p180 then. thanks for the fast response need to order ASAP before I go back to school!

you could also get the scythe ninja, that doesnt even use a fan.. as silent as it gets

Why not try some sound dampening? or water cooling? or quiet fans heres a link to some pretty good stuff(And no I am not trying to spam! And i do not work for SVC) They got some pretty good stuff there or just go water cooling
