Hello, this is my first post here and I'm just wondering if this computer build would be fast for games like source, fear and be very quiet in general. Any feedback would be appreciated.

you could get a dual core with that vid card and run FEAR and Source and so on very well...
simply saying that cuz soon the single core will be replaced...however...you would get better FPS with the single core...but when you're getting an unnecessary 120 FPS in Source you could give up 5-10 for a more advanced CPU that games will start taking advantage of next year...
if you're stuck on single core...good buy...good choice...
