Default New Comp Final Draft

Hey Guys,

I am putting together a generic gaming comp (nothing too fancy), here is my setup, what do you think?

-Current Build-

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz 6 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor HDT90ZFBGRBOX

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Motherboard: ASUS M4A78LT-M AM3 AMD 760G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

p.s. Did not want to shell out too much for the graphics card so will hold off on the HD 5770 unless I can find it at ~$100.

For a generic gaming comp save yourself $50 on the CPU and put it towards a better graphics card.
From benchmarks I've seen (here) the Phenom II x4 965 BE does just as well, if not better, with gaming than the x6 1090T and costs $50 less.

+1 for the 965 and then you can get a way better vid card which will be more useful
most games cannot take advantage of 6 cores
