i suggest:

64bit vista
2GB of RAM
and a Core 2 duo build for a lot less

also for the PSU look at the OCZ 700w GameXStream

holy jeez monkey

how is it that much more expensive, i thought it was like 250 or something. that cant be right

you wont get all the nice visual effects with the 32 bit though, but i know the price on the 64 bit should be down

yeah.. I thought that the price for it was a wee bit too high!

Yeah, I wouldn't get open box vista, because you can only install it once. If your Motherboard Crashes then you have to buy a new vista key. Also I don't know if you should get the GTX. I know it is a great card but you should save the money and get a GTS. You then can get a good motherboard. Like this one:

EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR LGA 775 NVIDIA 680i
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813188009

The ram you picked out is ok but it has not so good timings. You could over clock or go with these.

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145590

Everything else looks great, but it is all up to you. Also I love that case you picked out. I may pick up something like that is a month or two.

Vista that 64-bit and $200 but highly unrecommended open box product.

Agree with the motherboard, but teh price of corsair has gone down a lot. The gskill ram he had didn't have th best timing and he was paying more for the worse timings. So then your paying more for less. Even though it is unnoticeable.
