New Build - Processor question

Hey guys, i am looking to build a performance system, (just because i can) I've been looking at processors and plan to overclock, but am unsure what i should get. the one i'm most set on right now is the C2D e6600 it's reasonably priced and will overclock nicely to get the performance without spending 1000 dollars on it. any ideas would be great. by the way the board i will be using will be Intel 975XBX2. Thanks.

Get the e6750 for around $200. 2.66ghz 1333fsb.

or the e6550 for around $170 (2.33ghz, 1333 fsb)
but i think the e6750 is a better deal
