IMO the Core Contact is a better choice. Its a budget cooler, and you might notice a 1c difference between it and the V8. I've got a ultra KAZE 3000 fan strapped onto my core contact, with a phenom II 940 @ 3.6ghz I manage idle temps around 27-29c, and load 40-43c. Plus the Core Contact comes with free Tx-2, which is pretty much the best paste around right now.

Cooler... Either this one or a TRUE 120, you'll have to lap the 120 though.

What exactly is your budget? Have you looked at combo deals to save money?
