Hi all, I do a lot of photo editing, some video recoding and editing and run a lot of other stuff like netcam monitor software and sometimes all at the same time. And play games with great graphics.

My last build was:
ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe
P4/3.4GHZ Intel
Mushkin 1GB '222 Special' PC3200
2 WD Raptor 74 GB in Raid 0 on the Intel ICH5
ASUS Radeon 9800 xt
Creative Audigy2 ZS
Antec Truepower 550 Watt ATX
MNTR Mitsubish/22 DP2070SB_BK CRT
in a Case Antec/Plusview 1000AMG LE RET

That was 5 year ago. I'm giving that to my kids (little hackers) ages 6 & 10 and I want to build something high end that I can kick around real hard for the next 4 years and have room to add useless cards and junk to as I see fit.

I'm using my Mitsubishi 22" crt a my primary monitor and a Samsung 2333SW 23-Inch Full HD Widescreen LCD secondary so they'll move to the new PC.

This is what I am thinking about, what do you all think?

Haven't noticed the 1000W PSU ;)
Regarding the HDD, in my opinion the raptor doesn't worth the extra money comparing to a WD Black, just my two cents :p

Actually I would keep one of the raptors of your old rig to put the OS and buy a bigger HDD for files.
