Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
get that hdd instead, bigger cache, only 10 bucks more.

and you dont need such a big psu either. 520hx should do you fine or something along those lines

the only thing i hate about newegg is their shipping.
they have no combined shipping or free shipping if you spend a certain amount.
It really buggs me but their customer support pays it off in the end.

And the horrible taxes for CA residents.

As for the build, would it be wiser to wait perhaps a month or two because of the upcoming Q6600 price cut and the release of the 9800 series cards?

the q6600 will be $219, and the 9800series look like to be a bit of a let down, I recommend you just buy now

you never know. the 98xx might not be such a let down. All depends on price.

well its coming soon anyways, so you could just get an eVGA card, register it, and use the 90-day Stepup
