Hey guys,

my community is looking to build/buy a new machine.
I would like to give them a price sheet if I build it out so they can compare if they buy a pre built.
The will be doing a lot of streaming on this and maybe some video editing.
Budget is at $1k
So they will need cpu, ram, mobo, psu, gpu.
Wanna make sure it has at least 2 extra pci slots.
They gave me basic specs like i7, 16gb ram, I would like to get them a 256 ssd, they won't be storing many files.
This will not be used for gaming.

There's an i7 for sale
Is this a good deal?
New Intel i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2GHz Processor Plus Free USB Mouse $278.10 at eBay

Thanks

If they are just sending out video they won't need an i7 for that or even an i5. A Ryzen 5 would probably be a better fit for editing and saves on budget. Can get a nice M.2 for them and a cheaper Nvidia card like a 1050 to assist with the video editing. Something like this fits the bill easily.

This looks good
Thanks PP
Any suggestions on an i7 and an intel board if they insist on getting an i7 processor?
Should I get the one I posted above?

THey don't need a ti, you chose a really cheap SSD, no case, and a board with 0 PCI slots lol.

LOL, man I have no idea what's out there now.
Do you have an intel mobo suggestion then?
And would a Evo 850 be good enough or Sandisk Ultra ?
