1 try to get the DFi nF4 "ultra"-D

2 i would say get some better ram. unless your not OCing then get some nice corsair valueselect.

3 get a better power supply

and 4 get a better monitor. you can do better with 250 dollars.

5 (optional) dont get the raptor, and save some money and put that toward a monitor or ram or the "ultra" board.

It reminds me of a orange creamsicle... I used to eat hundreds of those when I was a kid...

I noticed that case is %100 plastic. You may want to look into a steel case instead because like one of the reviewers on newegg said plastic tends to create static electricity (not a good thing when working with pc parts). Also steel will probably give you better thermal dissapation.

How much are you willing to spend on a separate Power supply, I can reccomend a good one for you.

true, but steel is very very heavy. he should go with an aluminum case instead

According to the pictures, everything orange looks like it's steel and cream color is plastic. I really like this case.
