get one of these HDD's they are just about as fast as the raptor, or two to set up in RAID 0 if you want faster than raptor

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX ATX12V / EPS12V 750W Power Supply - Retail

Would that be a good power supply to power everything including the Q6600 overclocked and the 9800GX2?

I don't think that power supply will work for the 9800GX2, though. The gx2 requires an 8 pin PCIe and 6 pin PCIe power connection. I think the PC power and cooling only has the 6 pin PCIe.

Its a simple matter of using what if i recall is an included converter.

Also in the item description it states

"two 6-pin to 8-pin PCI-E connectors"

Most quality psu's have at least one 8 pin and 6 pin pci-e connector.

Newegg.com - ABS Tagan BZ Series BZ700 ATX12V / EPS12V 700W Patent Piperock Modular Power Supply 100 - 240 V TUV, UL, CE, CB, FCC, Semko, Nemko, Demko, Fimko - Retail

i suggest this power supply out of pure sexiness and the ability to put more amps through other rails, instead of using all 6 rails

and if the 700 watt isnt enough (if you want quad sli, or dual gtx's or anything like that)

here's the 800 watt
Newegg.com - ABS Tagan BZ Series BZ800 ATX12V / EPS12V 800W Patent Piperock Modular Power Supply 115 - 230V ± 10% tolerance TUV, UL, CE, CB, FCC, Semko, Nemko, Demko, Fimko - Retail

i'll be buying one of those myself sometime in the near future.. best looking psu i've ever seen

tell me thats not sexy, and i swear i'll kill you
