Well i just watched the video for Crysis and it looks amazing it really made me have the urge to upgrade my current rig. Im on a really tight budget so heres what i thought:
X2 3600 brisbane: Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane 1.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor - Retail
Biostar Tforce 550:
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
G skill 2GB Kit:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
PNY 320mb 8800GTS:
Newegg.com - PNY VCG88GTS32XPB GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail
Artic Cooling Freezer Pro:
Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail
Now i think this is a pretty **** good build its all in my budget and i know the brisbane can oc like mad. I do have 2 questions though.
1. Will the processor hold me back even if i overclock it?
2. A Cheaper Psu that will handle the 8800GTS?
By the way i would not like to go over $600
