would there be any difference in performance between an e6600 and e6700 because ive never overclocked and dont want to break anything. Apart from that is everything ok?

Just buy the E6600 and oc it to the clocks of the E6700 maybe later when you feel more confident about ocking you could go go a little higher .
There is no big difference from what I have seen in the benchmarks from 1 to 4 fps more thats it. (Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong )

hi ive just got some more money and want to make sure my motherboard is completely future proof. Can anyone reccomend a really good C2D and SLI motherboard ?
