New build for £1000

Hey,

I'm after a new build, was thinking along the lines of a AMD Athlon 64 4400 x2 Dual core, I already have my hdd's, case and psu. So please if you can recommend the best mobo, ram, and graphics card pref ATi. Keep in mind my budget of £1000. thanks in advance.

Upto now I have this is mind

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ £322.97
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe £134.25
Sapphire Radeon X1900XTX 512M GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI ViVO £389.86

All I need now is ram so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

erm theres no point in getting a SLI board especially one with 32x PCI-Express (gimic) when u want a ATI card.

Im a fellow UK'r, so il help u anyway i can, you need to find out what PSU you have, and tell us wat the AMPS are and all the other necessary specifications.

For the Video card, i have the X1900XT which is best value, you can OC it up to X1900XTX speed easily, so get XT.

For motherboard id get DFI lanparty Ultra-D.

and for CPU id get Opteron 165 Dual core.

Id probably get a new case depending on what yours is.

512MB Sapphire Radeon X1900 XT PCI-E £ 327.83

Total £ 902.80

Plus shipping costs add 50 quid, and Windows XP home - 65 quid.

So thats my recommendation
