Default New.

Hey guys sorry if I break a forum rule with this but I have no clue of buying/building computers. I currently have a laptop that I play games on and thats not good enough anymore to play the HIGH quality games that are coming out.
I'm not looking to spend more than $1.5-2grand, but I do what a high quality computer that can run smoothly and not overheat etc.

I been going on computer websites and messing around with "customize your computer" but I dunno what goes good with what and what is needed to meet my requirements for games.

please help.

Newegg.com - Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Newegg.com - SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-240G-G25 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

that puts you right at $2000. $40 in MIR and a $10 gift card will bring down the budget a tad.

if that pushes your budget, as it is at the upper end of the range you quoted, take the gpu down to a 570 or a 7870.

this will run anything out there now and for a ways into the future at high settings.

edit: youll need a displayport cable to take in all the glory of that ips panel monitor
Newegg.com - Link Depot Model DIS-15-MM 15 ft. DisplayPort Cable - M/M M-M

If the router is close by or in the same house then doesn't matter that much if it's just being used for internet.
