Depends are you going to overclock?

Whats your budget?

DFI UT NF4 ultra-D 100-120 dollars

MSI K8N NEO4-F last time i checked it was like 80 dollars

will that work with my pc2700 ram? Im planning to upgrade it to some high grade corsair in a month but for the time being and all?

PC2700 will work but it will slow down your processor as you would want PC3200. As soon as you can, try to upgrade that ram
