Default Need somebody to run a compatibility check

Need a compatibility check on this system. I am new at building systems.

Power Supply: APower 850w
Motherboard: Asus P6X58D Premium
CPU:Intel i7-950
RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB Triple Channel DDR3 Memory Kit
Graphics Card: GeForce 9600 GT
Hard Drives: WD 500gb, WD 320gb

Will probably run Windows XP 32 bit.

yea it should all work.

however, if you still haven't bought those parts yet you might wanna consider going with an i5 2500k build. the cpu is usually better than the x58 i7's and OC very nicely, but it will also cost a bit less since the mobos for them don't cost as much and you would wanna go with a dual channel kit of ram (2x2gb most likely).

if you're planning on doing some gaming you're going to want to get a better card than that, and see if you can get ahold of a 64-bit OS, preferably win7, as a 32-bit OS will limit the amount of your ram your rig can use to around 3gigs, it won't be able to see the rest.

oh and get a psu from a better known brand, some suggestions on that can be found here
