you've got an IDE optical drive, get SATA version

if you don't OC i think stock cooling is fine, but its a shame not to OC
IF cheaper, you can go with some good ol' pc2-6400 (cas 4) too if you want

Get either the TRUE:
Tech-Forums Recommended PC Components v2.0

or the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer (Sunbeam owns Tuniq, thats why it's branded as such)
Tuniq Core Contact Freezer CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775))

Note, if you want to get the TRUE, you have to buy a fan, the Core contact comes with a fan and TX-2, so I would go with it.

Depends, what resolution are you playing your games on? If it's 1680x1050 and lower then stick with the 4850. If it's anything above that, then go for a 4870.

Not really worth it. The whole point of crossfire is adding the second card. After the first one no longer cuts it. Which is why so many people are turning to 8800 GT's in SLI, because 8800 GT's in SLI still beat the 4850 and 9800 GTX+.

Crossfire is more effective at large resolutions like 1920x1200 and above.
