Default Need a recommendation for a cheap GFX card

I haven't been into gaming for a while but was thinking about trying SWTOR.

I sold my GTX460 a while back and just using an old geforce 6800 card.

Any suggestions on something really cheap (around $50) to run SWTOR just to try it out? My rig is really dated. WinXP, Q6600, 4GB RAM, gigabyte P35-DS3L.

Are you using the same power supply you used to juice your GTX460?
XFX GT 240 would work for you if so, $35 after rebate.

The SWTOR site hasn't released official system requirements, but the popular assumption is:
Quote:
OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo Processor 2.0 Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000
RAM: At least 1.5 GB or better for XP / 2 GB or better for Windows Vista /7 (Note - PC's using built in graphic chipsets 2 GB RAM is recommended.)
Disk Drive: 8x DVD-ROM
GFX: ATI XT800 or better / NVIDIA 7800 or better / Intel 4100 or better.
GFX RAM: 256 MB minimum video RAM, shader 3.0 or better fully compatible graphics card.
So you should be fine with that card, and your power supply will be able to handle it.

Got that GT240 on Mon. and it's been running The Old Republic fairly well. Not great, but good.

Can't complain for such a cheap card.

I got invited to beta test it.

But yes, it's scheduled to be released late this year.
