Need major help

Hey, guys. Haven't been on here in awhile, and I need some serious help. I am not building a gaming rig, but a monster workstation. Only problem is I have a major budget issue.

I need to know what sort of processors to go with. I want to go 64bit and I might have to buy it through dell simply because of financing. Anyhow the major issue I ma having, is which processors do I go with? Right now I have two older single core xeon procs and it is taking me like 7 hours to run a single excel spread sheet. So I am going to upgrade and I need to know if I should go with a single expensive proc, or two xeons and I am not entirely sure what the difference is. I could really use some help guys, thanks.

do not get a Dell, if it breaks down your going to be stuck with it for months before they take it back to repair it which is waiting a few more months, they have awful customer satisfaction.

See, we are a small business and we have actually had fantastic experiences with dell for the most part.

But I still don't know what to do with the procs
